Skellefte District VMS Project
Ore Systems Consulting, as of December 1999, has commenced a lithogeochemical-alteration-chemostratigraphic
project on the Kristineberg mine in the Skellefte belt of northern
Sweden, for Boliden AB Exploration of Sweden. Within this belt are
numerous base-metal massive sulfide deposits which are hosted by
mafic to felsic volcanic sequences of lower Proterozoic age, including
Boliden's Renstr?m mine and the past-producing Boliden mine.
