Quartz-muscovite coarse-grained schist which directly overlies a bed of massive Pb-Zn-Ba-rich sulfide in the Dead Creek area, Ambler sequence. The quartz-muscovite schist has a rhyolitic composion with textures interpreted as remnant fiamme that were part of a pyroclastic flow that covered the sulfide horizon. At this locality, a boulder massive sulfide interpreted as a rip-up occurs in the lower metre of the pyroclastic unit. |
