Upper: Determination of downhole lithological variations in drillhole 88-01 using Zr/TiO2 ratio. The ore lenses occur in the upper part of rhyolite A, below a lens of rhyolite B. Lower: Calculated SiO2 mass changes along drillhole 88-01, compared with untreated SiO2 data. The mass changes show silica loss at the level of mineralization, and also near a fault zone in the hangingwall.
