Untreated whole-rock data an overlapping zone of Ba addition and increasing K2O/Na2O due to formation of sericite or K-feldspar. While one of the gold-enriched intervals (1.79 g/t over 2.0 m) occurs in the most altered part of the section, a second one (3.21 g/t over 2.0 m) occurs in unaltered rock.
