Downhole variations in lithology as given by the Al2O3/TiO2 ratio, hole E-54, Kutcho Creek. The sulfide lens occurs within rhyolites, but at a compositional break which corresponds texturally to a change from strongly altered lapilli tuff footwall to less altered quartz-crystal-rich pyroclastic rhyolite hangingwall.
