The Marshall Zone lies entirely within felsic volcanic rocks, near the top of rhyolite B, and below a largely massive lens of rhyolite A. Rhyolite B in places has a very dark colour, and displays zones of unusual sodic alteration. Hole 10-2025 intersected 9.6 m of sulfides grading 2.49 g/t Au, 119 g/t Ag, 0.76 % Cu, 1.39 % Pb, 10.80 % Zn and 2.15 % Ba. Note that the hole did not reach the mafic rocks of the Price Formation, and thus did not test the felsic-mafic contact which hosts the H-W and Battle orebodies.
