A and B at the Fetais deposit. These units have similar REE patterns,
suggesting that the felsic magma types are derived from a common source.
Vertical shifts in the REE pattern of a given rhyolite types are due
to alteration-related mass changes. The near-parallelism of the altered
and unaltered samples indicates that the REE were largely immobile
during alteration, although minor mobility in the light REE can be
detected. |
